hip deep in pie

I still do the waffle thing even with non-famous people. Third party: "So, how do you know X?" Me: "Well... um..." X, often: "FROM THE INTERNET!!" Me: "Well, yeah."

With my friends who know about the crazy internet people, I say, "she's a crazy internet person." With other friends I'll just say something like, "Oh we go way back..." Or I'd say, "Jesse is a friend of msbelle." and leave them to figure that out.

Stephanie, you done driving yet?

I think everyone should answer the where questions with "the imaginary people in the box that talk to me."

That way, I can laugh and laugh at the looks on the questioners' faces.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

In general, I cop to the internet. But I'm doing it with a "You wanna make something of it, huh????" look in my eye. And I often segue into the "Safe Arbor from Ann Arbor" story with Allyson and dare them to make light of the medium.

Nathan didn't need all that.

Where was this Allyson/msbelle discussion of the premiere?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, friend-of-a-friend is definitely the go-to answer.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Back this spring when I was in Houston, my bosses thought it was the weirdest thing that I was gonna go meet someone in person that I had met online.

I kinda wanted to say, "Yeah, it was kinda' werid, the first time I did that fourteen years ago...."

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Why people gotta ask that question?

Tim says I'm a friend he met through work. Which is kinda true, if you squint and spin around really fast.

Trust my rage

Thanks, ita!

Yes, I'm home, finally. We got home Saturday night. I've been trying to make some progress on teh giant pile of crap in my house since we unloaded the car. I'm making slow progress - Ellie is not helping since apparently she does not nap now that we are home.

Yeah. You were a 'customer representative,' or something.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I cop to the internet, usually, and Tom and I go through it pretty reglarly. First I'll say something like we were friends for several years before we started dating, which is true, but then if folks are like, how did you become friends, I generally go through the whole shebang. I go out of my way to emphasize the nature of the internet community, though.

My agent met msbelle and Jesse and dropped me an email that read, "you really do know people everywhere!"

I was all, "duh! of course! the internets!"
