Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Happy Birthday, Kate P!

And Allyson, I'm with David and everyone else who thinks you write fab. Because you do, and you're funny and have interesting stories to tell, and I'm certain someone will agree with us (because we are Buffistas and therefore hardly ever wrong), and then the rest of the world will learn your fabulosity as well.

Can I go home now?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And Allyson, I am now picturing the future you doing the snooty-store scene from Pretty Woman, except with publishers. "Big mistake. Huge."

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Happy Birthday Kate P!!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

hip deep in pie

I am writing a cover letter. Oh how I hate them. I have so many frickin versions of my resume floating around on various computer and in various inboxes that I'm not sure which one is the most current. I'm sure that I have one at work that's more recent than the latest one I can find here. If I discover otherwise tomorrow, I will cry.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

FWIW, I had to turn on the heat. I tried to keep the place at 60 and I was VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. Shit. So now I keep it at 65.

At night, I take it down to 60.

Art Crawl!!!

Happy Birthday Kate!

I saw a scroll on CNN that said that Alpha was going to mingle with the remnants of Wilma.. . but didn't explain if what effect that was going to have on anything else.

Alpha. Jesus.

This is why I'm trying very hard not to bitch about the fact that this month is about to be the rainiest month ever recorded in NYC.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Will that create a Noreaster for New England?

At night, I take it down to 60.

If DH had his way, he'd keep the heat off, open a window and pile on the comforters to sleep. He loves sleeping under a lot of covers when it's cold.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Will that create a Noreaster for New England?

Yep. And then it will rain fire and giant space ants will invade and the world will END.

I am so over this freaking hurricane season.

Ooh, your DH is me. Only problem with that scenario is that it makes it that much harder to get up in the morning because the bed is so cozy and warm.
