I've had two surprisingly excellent sandwiches in the past few days -- a muffaletta in Grand Central Station, and a medianoche from this Cuban place around the corner from my house. But...
I don't know how to make favorites lists. Even when I try, I keep thinking "oh, but this one too, and also this one, and don't forget that one" and end up with pretty-much-everything, and not in any order I can actually arrange, rather than five one-after-the-other.
This is totally me. It's an ongoing issue in my family, ever since I was a kid, and my parents would always ask me what my "favorite part" was -- of things like camp. I like many parts! For many reasons!!
There's a lot of nonprofit legal organizations involved, but we haven't filed a complaint yet-- meaning the case hasn't come to court yet, so no amici.
I was just trying to google a similar case, because I know one is pending, but couldn't find it. But ask away.
I actually decided to go to the drug store before class instead of seeing if you answered, but the topic of my advocacy class today was legal/judicial advocacy. We always have to come up with a question for the class, and answer it, and I thought I could give some of-the-moment example, but it's no big deal. Our speaker was this awesome guy from the ACLU. Edit: This awesome guy.

Beth!
I haven't posted in here in ages. How's things?
ok . There are guitar lessons in my living room so I am surfing, reading some suff of deb's and drinking tea. oddly, it feels like bed time, but there are chores to do (it is garbage night!) so I am indugleing the part of me that wishes to stay awake.
Did we all tune in to ABC early tonight and catch the end of that FPJ show? Did we all also wonder whether ABC could really have thought that THIS was the perfect lead-in to Lost?
This just in: I totally have the hots for Louis Freeh. Is that wrong?
Beth, I know the feeling. I really should go to sleep, but I'm not sleepy and don't want to go to bed. So instead, I'm eating Halloween candy and watching Gilmore Girls on Tivo.

I will have to see about anagramming their starting lineup. It will be easier if they have both Ensberg and Everett in the lineup along with Ausmus, because that way at least I can work with something like BLEEBABB[P].
Another postseason game, another controversial call. Did you see who the umpire was, that called the phantom tag on Baby Molina? It was Greg Gibson, of some infamy in Boston circles, for that game in May that he let out of control. I thought postseason assignments were on merit??
This is going to be a World Series of pitching, and although the White Sox guys are sturdy, I don't know that they're necessarily great. Oswalt? He's pretty overwhelming.
