Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

Top five top fives

I don't know how to make favorites lists. Even when I try, I keep thinking "oh, but this one too, and also this one, and don't forget that one" and end up with pretty-much-everything, and not in any order I can actually arrange, rather than five one-after-the-other.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Nilly is me.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Tell us who your top five favorite Buffistas are, Nilly.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Quick! Tell me the 5 best sandwiches you've ever had!

The Cuban at Birley's, which to my everlasting delight, is within walking distance of work. The most perfectly cooked roasted pork (succulent, falling apart) grilled in a panini with a slice of ham, and cheese and peppers and pickles. Unbelievably perfect.

The Muffaletta at Napoleon House, which I prefer to the Central Grocery. This opinion shades only fifteen percent into heresy, I think, as it's one of the ongoing debates about Muffalettas. (Certain things are inarguable about them, however, as is firmly established.)

That Tunafish Sandwich I Made Once, which was largely dependent on the thick sliced, fresh, coarse-grained whole wheat bread it was on. I made the tuna with a touch of curry and it came out just right. Also there were excellent tomatoes involved.

...and I'm going to walk over to the Ferry Building before I finish this list.

Well, there's this one. Oh, and that one. And then you can forget that other one, and of course that other other one. Oh, and this one, too. And then there's that one, and of course this one, and that another other one.

Oh, no, wait, I know!

1. You.
2. You.
3. You.
4. You whom I only see in that other thread.
5. You.

Silence means security silence means approval

I want to state, again, for the record, that I hate Adobe Acrobat, and I wish I didn't know what I do about it, instantly making me the office expert in it.

Sigh.

I have no top fives to offer right now, unless someone wants to ask me for one.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What if a cat looks at it?
