I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

unforeseen surplus that could reach $928 million by the end of the year.

OK, while I am happy about the weekend holiday savings. This kinda pisses me off, because the MTA has been whining about no $$ for a while and has cut back on cleaning and manned token booths, Not to mention the last rate hike. Why not just let the fare go down to $1.75 or something?

Also? A lot of those weekends, NYCers will be out of town and tourists will be the ones reaping the benefits.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I have to say, not that impressed with the (temporary!) fare reduction. It's such an obvious ploy for people to forget MTA's murky accounting, unnecessary fare hikes and aloof management. "Here's $20. We'll be wanting that back in a couple years when we raise the fares again. Oh, and with 500% interest. Have a good one!"

ETA: and what msbelle said, especially about the usefulness of weekend discounts.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I vote for Hurricane Zim.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Crap. I've got to get moving and get out of here.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My cat kneads, but luckily he's very specific. I sleep on my side and he likes to snuggle up between me and the BF and and knead the back of my neck. It's like I have my own tiny masseuse.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Happy Birthday, Callie & Burrell!!!

My cat decided to suck on my sleeve and knead my arm at 3:00 am.

My cat kneads, but he doesn't suck. He likes to knead my stomach and thigh, so I just keep his claws trimmed and I'm okay.

Juice and Kleenex for the Zmayhems!

hip deep in pie

MY cats knead blankets more than they knead me. I think they got tired of trying to relaxing and me saying "Ow! Ow! Ow!" Though Pico does try to wake me sometimes by hopping on my back (if I'm sleeping on my stomach) and kneading. If only I could direct him to the knots.

move out and draw fire

Happy Birthday Burrell and Happy Birthday Calli!

Kevin called us "dumplings."

The DH is 2 hours late home tonight (he's called), and the cat's pissed about it and is stomping around the computer table and jumping in and out of his chair.
