I gotta share this somewhere, because it so exposes me for the intellinerd that I am.
I am reading a student paper on a condition called trimethylaminuria, in which the body can't process trimethylamine well and so it builds up in the body, making the person smell like rotten fish. Evidently trimethylamine is what gives fish that fishy smell. And I can't help but remember that Freud once wrote that he thought that trimethylamine was involved with the sexual process. And then I put two and two together and then I wish I hadn't.
