A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

Love:

ROTHERHAM, England - Buster the German shepherd could have had a great career as a British police dog had it not been for one flaw: His complete lack of interest in fighting crime.

Police noted his poor motivation — and a fondness for making friends with rowdy drunkards, his former handler said Monday.

C'mon now, haven't we all heard this a time or two?

Our wings are not tired

If all the evil people would just join evil religions, like Satanism, things would be a whole lot simpler.

Tom, may I tag?

Silence means security silence means approval

Comcast's craptastic service

Am I the only one who thinks this "Comcastic" thing they're promoting is a combination of "Comcast" and "craptastic?"

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wasn't gonna send Browncoats.

Yeah, you'd probably end up sending Sox fans or PETA members or something instead.

The groups began kicking a ball back and fourth across the border, a game that concluded when a Vermont state trooper took the ball away.

Aw, man... The Mounties would've let us play.

In re: Bollywood, I was a little taken aback when my History of Math book mentioned Asoka. I mean, I know he was a real historical ruler of India and all, but I'd never heard of him until I saw the dancing-and-singing movie, in which he is played by a man who looked, in this movie, very much like Tony Curtis.

(It looks like he doesn't usually resemble him so much. But in that movie? Heck yeah.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Between the Bollywood 24 and the flag lowering ceremony between Pakistan and India I might have to start angling for Indian cable TV.

We're meeting for the interpretive dance of contempt at the Detroit/Windsor border tonight! We shall menace the Canadians with pastries, and be taunted with Timbits in return.

You know what the US could use more of? Pasties. (The food kind.) (And by that I don't just mean edible, I mean the kind that's intended to be food.) I think pasties would be just about perfect, with the portability and everything, and I would really love a meaty thing I could eat on the go right now.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Well, that campaign certainly affected my word choice in my rant above.

IO-ranty News, I'm still fighting off the gronk of not sleeping last night because my boss felt it neccessary to page me at 5pm yesterday and tell me when I called her that she needed to see me first thing this morning, prompting me to spend the night worrying what it could be about. Our conversation this morning lasted 2 minutes and could have easily been handled over the phone when I responded to her page. WTF?!?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Tom, may I tag?

Go ahead.
