Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

So- advice from Buffistas.

I have to call my landlord because my heat is not working (I pay for it). I suspect that the pilot light is out, as I can hear the furnace try to start when I turn the thermostat up.

So, in case he comes in my apartment I have to clean. My kitchen, bedroom and stairway are the rooms that need it. Where should I start? I am scared of the kitchen, but the bedroom has a door....

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Robin, I totally need to cull the BF's brain about cars. Hmm. I think we should do a dinner thing soon.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I say start with the stairway as that could be tricky for him to maneuver.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I suspect that the pilot light is out, as I can hear the furnace try to start when I turn the thermostat up.

Wouldn't you call the gas company about that? I know around here, the gas company takes this sort of thing very seriously, and will happily send someone out to light even stove pilot lights free of charge, just to keep people, houses and neighborhoods from exploding unnecessarily.

Which is not to raise the worrying spectre of exploding, just to ask if the gas company wouldn't be a better call.

I'll just be over here with my fingers in my ears....

I don't know Sean. When this has happened at other places, there is a button you have to push, and the furnace starts again. I can't even get to where the furnace is, so I wouldn't be able to call the gas company anyway (or well, I wouldn't be able to let them in....)

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

So, if I print out the cashed check from my bank that I sent to the DMV, that should be ammo in case I get pulled over for expired tags, right?
