You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

All I care is, does this mean more baseball preemptions on Fox this week?

Actually, there will probably be fewer this week, because the Sox-Angels series is done, although Fox will probably just replace the games that would have been with reruns.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Would I like to be beaten to death by an avalanche of yo-yos, or die in a terrible Zamboni accident? Either way, death and indignity, so it's not much of a choice.

Ah, yes, but if you are killed while riding a Zamboni on the field of battle, your death will have honor.

It will be glorious!

The evil is this way?

I want the White Sox to take it all. It's been since 1917, right? Their fans have waited long enough. And next year? The Cubbies.

Oh, sure, now that the Red Sox aren't cursed any more, you want to rid all of baseball of the curses. *g*

Narrator, what does Hobson's Choice mean?

What DX said.

What is even happening?

Oh, sure, now that the Red Sox aren't cursed any more, you want to rid all of baseball of the curses. *g*

I do. I'm magnanimous like that. We could have a whole new batch of curses for other teams, though.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Jilli will be so jealous!

Oh, and I didn't even tell him about Clovis! Damn.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Bunnicula! and The Celery Stalks at Midnight!

You know, as a child I pronounced it "Bun-ee-cue'-la" as opposed to "Bun-i'-cu-la", which I know realize was kind of stupid. I also thought that compromise was pronounced to sound like promise. Adn when I learned about the Missouri Compromise (pronounced correctly) I just thought there were two different words!

Also, does anyone have a good site (other than live365) for internet radio? I pretty much like to listen to 80's, folk, or showtunes, and live365 is crapping out on me and itunes seems to not have any folk or showtunes.

I can't link to it directly, but if you go to CNN [link] and look at the 'free video' section, you can see a video of a cat with two tongues.

Freaky.

Charles Rocket has killed himself. [link] He's most famous for being an SNL castmember in '80-'81.

He killed himself by slitting his throat. Ugh - I have a major throat-slitting squick, so I'd rather kill myself by throwing myself in front of a Zamboni than to cut my own throat.

Yeah, I read about that last week. (He's originally from Providence.) He's actually most famous for saying "fuck" on SNL's Weekend Update, which is what got him fired from the show.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The National Zoo's baby panda has a name. Tai Shan, which means "peaceful mountain."
