Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'll be free in the afternoon. Which reminds me (I'm such a flake) that I have something I picked in Kenya for your kids. Well, mainly Frankie, I guess.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

after last nights feast I expected not to be that hungry this am. I did not know I would dream of cooking a feast of lamb and pork and lobster. Alton showed up as matt and I were cooking and he was impressed.

What is even happening?

Scotty goes into space.

I'm such a geek. That made me a little misty, and I'm not even a trekker.

That's pretty neat. Bet it's spendy, huh? Should start saving my pennies. I also like that it's not just randomly shooting stuff out into space. Orbit for a couple centuries, then burn up on re-entry. It's... tidy.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Bet it's spendy, huh?

If the people sponsoring it have a brain cell in their heads, they're doing it free of charge for Doohan's ashes.

Well, yeah, that may well be the case for him; I was thinking of my own space urn and attendant costs.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I love the phrase "space urn." I wonder if there's some way to swing one while I'm still alive?
