OK, here's one I don't get:
In Washington state, you cannot sell pseudoephedrine-containing products over the counter anymore; you have to go to the pharmacist. So, the shelves are mostly clear of Sudafed-type products. But, here's the odd thing: Some of the "cocktail" type products (Dayquil, Nyquil) are still on the shelf -- but not all of them.
What's determining what stays on the shelf and what doesn't?

Kickbacks from the drug marketing folks.
sumi, your speculation make me SNORK! That would be hysterical. Tom, we have some old vike we could send you, but that would take more than an hour, I'm guessing.
Does that offer of vike apply to all Toms?

Far as I know, you can't use NyQuil to make meth. It's more a drink-it-straight-from-the-bottle, Kitty-Dukakis style drug.
OK, I am glad to know that other people make the Kitty Dukakis reference. People I know often don't get it. (PS: My Kitty Dukakis story involves her teaching us all how to shake hands at 8th grade graduation.)
You guys, I think I'm seeing sunlight. Not filtered. There are sharp shadows and shit.
Woo!
