Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

New Yorkers are cute about the rain.

NEW JERSEY IS FLOODING. Or at least that's what I think I keep hearing on the news.

I think it isi supposed to clear out of here for the weekend. I have not seen the sun since the wednesday before last. Or maybe it was the tuesday. It is insanemaking.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

New Hampster is flooding as well, there have even been a couple Darwinesque deaths by ill-timed choices to drive over flooded bridges, et cetera.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

NEW JERSEY IS FLOODING.

Hey, LA was flooding when we got called on it here.

It might be possible that I'm a grudge holder.

If only my memory worked on useful stuff.

All I know is that it smells like wet dog all the time. Which is what happens after a few days of wet here. Where it doesn't smell like wet dog, it smells like glue factory or fish, beer and piss.

It's not charming.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Thanks for the nice things you guys say. I'm all happy and shit.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Tim's car to the moon

OMG that is so awsome, Allyson! He's gonna love it.

I just wish there'd been some way you could have had the moon brandishing a whip and dressed in leather or something (cause - ya know - she's a harsh mistress and all).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So, my annoying class gets more and more annoying. I just looked at the sample paper he emailed around as a good example of our last assignment. He asked for 1-2 "crisp" pages. The sample? FOUR PAGES. Shit, I could have included everything in four pages, too. Argh.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Today what I cherish about ita is her inability to let go.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

I kind of love it, but I'm the only one in my family who does.

Psst! Cindy is a freak who likes Autumn rain!!

Concur on the general sentiment of "the whole world smells like wet dog." It gets a bit tiresome.

Also, now it is dark when I get home from work, I basically have to garden on the weekends, and doing that in the cold rain is pretty much the dictionary definition of suck.

Art Crawl!!!

Allyson -- that pop-up book looks great! I'm sure he'll love it.

Man, I really need to watch my c.s.i. tape.

And -- I loved seeing Amy Acker on Alias. You guys don't think that she was blown up, do you ?
