Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Which means high ceilings, gorgeous hardwood floors and moldings and floorboards. It's really big, 750 sq feet.

Sounds a lot like my apartment, the one I have to move out of in the beginning of next year (damnit), except I'm not too sure if it's quite 750 sf, but pretty close to it.

I went to Trader Joe's for the first time tonight! But they didn't have the lemon crisp cookies I was really craving, so I compensated with chocolate instead. I did get lots of frozen fruits and veggies, and a gallon of apple cider (yum, organic apple cider!). They said the new flyer is coming out next week, so I might go back sooner than I thought.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

msbelle, you can stay up with me. Husband and I are sleeping in shifts, so that someone will be checking windows every so often, making sure that they aren't leaking. And that, you know, the house isn't blowing away.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I suspect that now that I already slept, I won't sleep.

I still haven't seen the cuddle lounge.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So you decided to stay put, Dana?

Dana, that sounds like a good time. Except for the parts where, not at all fun. Do you have DVDs of pretty people that you can watch? I highly recommend that.

ita, I have half a mind to call you in say, I dunno, 6 hours.

Yeah. Which really was the right decision. First of all, the storm turned east, so we won't be getting the bad side of it. Secondly, traffic yesterday was CRAZY INSANE. We'd probably still be on the road.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have half a mind to call you in say, I dunno, 6 hours.

You better not be alone.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Secondly, traffic yesterday was CRAZY INSANE. We'd probably still be on the road.

Is there some magic, unknown, traffic God reason they don't open the opposite side of the freeways to let people GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT!?!

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

They did, eventually, but not nearly soon enough.
