Okay, um, I'm lost. Uh, I'm angry, and I'm armed, so if you two have something that you need to work out --

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Yay Bon Bon! What's it like?

Do I want to be a loser and go eat by myself at the sushi bar or order ahead so I can take it home with me and be a loser eating in front of her TV? (and her cats and her ice cream).

Go loser! Choose loser!

(unless eating at the bar is significantly more amusing.)

But which loser should I be?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

A LOSER AT HOME! (So that I know if the package made it yet.)

But you did it! Now you can flop.

No. I can't. I have so much reading I didn't finish that I can't really go to sleep. Instead, I'm going to nap for an hour then wake up and read as much as I can, then sleep again.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

It's really great. It's a one-bedroom on a side street in a prewar building. Which means high ceilings, gorgeous hardwood floors and moldings and floorboards. It's really big, 750 sq feet. I rented it like five minutes after seeing it and didn't even notice all the beautiful details like the two-tone paint job around the moldings. It's a really old building so the apartment has like 20 coats of paint but is charming nonetheless.

That's so huge. Separate dining room?

Oh, I'm sorry. Well, may your nap be refreshing.

bon, that sounds AWESOME. I'm quite envious. That's the size of my apartment, but without the high ceilings, mouldings classy hardwood and all that.

Last weekend, I was in one of Baltimore's 1900 "painted lady" rowhouses (modelled after the SF painted ladies style from way back when) that made me nearly cry with envy. Transoms to every room, blocked off fireplaces on every floor, but with the original mantles. Inlay on the wood floors. Original tilework, octagonal. Was just GORGEOUS.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
