Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Announcement: I left work 2 hours ago, and my husband is cooking me shrimp scampi for dinner.

Analysis: I'm jealous, and I don't even eat shrimp.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I saw a "Shalom Y'all" bumper sticker today, and thought especially of Nilly. Then I googled, and it's a documentary about being Jewish in the South. Makes sense, I suppose.

Co-worker is talking to another one about being busted for some mistake. She keeps dipping into conspiratorial whispers, which is the only reason I started eavesdropping. It was like a klaxon of "dirt here!"

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Tulane Hillel has a "Shalom Y'all" sign over one of the doorways.

Working in a Jewish high school has me spouting random bits of badly pronounced Hebrew frequently. I still can't say the "ch" sound correctly. I sound like such a lame WASP when I try.

Also, hi.

I haven't eaten anything all day until now. The last I ate was with J&G and Allyson at CityWalk last night.

Milk doesn't really count as food food does it? Cause that's what I've had so far.

But I'm neither hungry nor caring about eating and too lazy to cook.
