This is not funny. This... this is a morality tale about the evils of sake.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I love various researching techniques!

I start with wikipedia as general overview and to see what links they have. Once i get a handle on what I'm looking for, I google with more specificity, and in the case of Dante, do the academic google.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I apparently am uninterested in actual knowledge. I only like factoids. Anyway, I use wikipedia once in a while, when I think of it.

For school I use paid databases.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have access to Books 24x7 through work, and rarely remember to use the damned thing. Text of actual books, and I'd rather google and surf. I don't think digitising books works for me -- I'm better off in something that was created ground up for the web.

I apparently am uninterested in actual knowledge [...] For school [...]

Hmm.

I mean, personally. I google to find out stupid facts, not to actually learn about a topic.

For school, I search journals and whatnot. Still not as interested in actually learning as I might be.
