Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Bah. I just got pulled off a project at the business user's request. I feel quite professionally slighted. The fact that it wasn't my fault is completely irrelevant to both them and my manager (as it should be -- I'm not bitching about that). And the new PM won't have the same problems, but not in the least because I just sat with my manager for half an hour telling her what they were and discussing making sure they don't happen again. Also because those steps are already done.

Combine that with the fact that I'm not training at krav (maybe I should go tonight) I feel quite useless. The other projects where they love me really don't count right now.

Do something that makes you feel competent and engaged. That sometimes helps me (moreso when I HAVE done something wrong) to shake it off.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Jealous of those who went to the premiere party last night. I'm not even sure if I'll be able to see Serenity on opening weekend...

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I think he had a wicked grin.

See, this is my problem. In almost every shot I've seen of him, he has this wicked grin, and it is feeding the crush.

Well, I just saved (if it's possible) another co-worker from looking like an idiot -- for some reason she cc-ed me on an email that has nothing to do with me, and I was able to tell her what was wrong with it.

Not enough. I need a burning building from which to rescue goldfish, or something.

Actually, in the talk with my manager I created an internal project out of thin air and promised to have something to show for approval by EOB Monday. I spun the hell out of the meeting, and I think the only thing that'll suffer is my foolish pride.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Lake Charles is in LA, not TX.

Ah. See, I suppose I could have googled, but I read it and went to a soapy place mentally (My mother and grandmother were notorious soap-watchers when I was growing up.) I didn't know if the Lake Charles was wrong or the Texas was wrong.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Not enough.

I think you should make us (for all meanings of us that mean me) cupcakes.

You're good at that.

Now tagless for your comfort.

you know, it makes be feel better to know that they cancel bad shit as well.

That is encouraging, I suppose.

He was more than a good sport. I think he had a wicked grin. I highly recommend crushing on him. And I love meeting an actor whose work I like and coming away liking them more rather than less or even the same amount. It rocks.

That just tickles me. I love it when actors turn out to be charming and sweet and appreciative of their fans.

It was frozen pizza for dinner tonight since we didn't have any bacon for bacon and eggs.
