Hee, Raq!

I'm awake at 4:15. I'm going back to work today after having a week off, in which I did very little, if that. I don't want to go back to work. Blah.

Oh, and I just saw this excerpt from a new book by an Irish journalist who did an interview with Bush that became rather confrontational. Interesting look at the interview process, as well as how W reacts to reporters not interested in kissing his ass.

Up before sunrise is too early, Kathy!

I like "Batman Bayou" for Heather.

I remember that. It was all over the news. She was something of a hero for a while.

Don't know if Susan W (and other Sean Bean fans) have heard this yet--he's filming another Sharpe movie!!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Heather, how about Belle Reve? It will make the Batman fans blink, which is never a bad thing. :-)

Heather, since Phoebe is my actual name, I beg you not to use it. It's hard enough when people start talking about their animals having fleas. Someone else posting with my (very unusual!) name would probably cause a mental breakdown. Especially if my mother started posting.

Hm. Am being demanding these days. Sorry. Hope I am not unreasonable.

Swouncing

flea, in the show "Veronica Mars", which I'm currently watching, there's a character (well, a dead one) named Lilly. I continually spell her name wrong, "Lily", because if I ever try to spell it right, I end up writing my own name, no matter the different first letter and all, so I totally understand your request. Regardless, I think "Phoebe" is a lovely name.

[Edited because in a post about spelling things wrong at least I should spell existing words properly]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Bailey on GA is brilliant this week. And undiluted.

'Whole generation' lost in quake.

Fire hits Wallace and Gromit sets.
