Oh, at first it was confusing. Just the idea of computers was like — whoa! I'm eleven hundred years old! I had trouble adjusting to the idea of Lutherans.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Me either Sumi. I did find out that Mirrormask is playing at an arthouse near where I work, so I may actually go out on a work night.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I still haven't see Serenity. Clearly I need to line up more babysitting.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Does anyone know when sequins were first invented? And when they became plastic?

What is even happening?

Shall we discuss the dirty sanchez?
No. I forget what that is. All I can remember is that it is wicked gross and the more I talk about it right now, the closer I get to recalling the definition and hush, ita.

I think the sequin age came after the bronze age but before the iron age. I think they became plastic during the space age, perhaps at the same time that Tang was invented.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I know the word sequin comes from an Arabic word for a gold coin, which was a coin originally used in the Middle East. I'm sure that doesn't help you at all, though.

I can't believe I just watched an episode of Queen Of Swords. But it does seem strange that her mask has plastic sequins on it. More than strange.

Still! Peter Wingfield! Mrrowwr.

And I notice that Tessa is now on Kitchen Confidential.
