Everybody Hates Chris was hysterical the first week (at one point, I had to run to the kitchen to spit out my drink in the sink, because I was in danger of choking on it). It was decent last week. And now, I'm just realizing it was on at 8:00pm, so never mind. It's worth catching in the future, if you at all like Chris Rock. I'm not sure if some of what appeals to me is that I am the same general age as Rock, and so the era feels familiar.
I realized I missed it this week. I enjoyed the first ep very much. My first love this season is still My Name is Earl. But both EHC and MNiE both have familiar senses of humor to me.
The issue has become more complex than anticipated
Gee, ya think? Someone (you know, the husband of a friend of someone I read on livejournal... someone!) made the point that this is the kind of bill that's never meant to pass, but the people sponsoring it mean to be seen sponsoring it.
Any swedish speakers? I was rummaging through stuff and found a box of ancient storybook cards from my grandmother. Looks like a puss and boots story. It's titled Masterkatten i stovlar (with umlauts over the first a and the o.) What's the actual translation?
Have to see if I have any others. It's kind of charming to find.
Hmmm...Ok. Well, I have Wonderfalls to help with the funny, and DVDs, so I suppose I'll listen to Rosie.
I think I left my cell phone at work, that is annoying.
Don't take her name in vain, love.
I guess forgetting a cell could be THAT annoying.
I've never been searched on the subway yet either, and I've walked by them with a big backpack a few times so far. Eh.
I think Howard Dean just said that the President and Harriet Miers are doing it.
Also, I accidentally went off about her in class today when we were talking about loyalty vs. competence in a team. Oops.
ION, I was just today thinking it was about time for my friend to have a baby shower, and I came home to find the invite in the mail. The best part? It's at the beer garden! I love these people.
