How long have you had the clothes you're wearing right now?
shoes I am wearing right now I bought a few months ago. The ones I am changing into I have had for 8-9 years.
shirt - 5 years? about that, it is showing some wear, may need a fabric shaving.
suit - 3-4 years, and I got it from a GoodWill store, so it was only "new" to me.
I have had the shirt I'm wearing for years (not sure how many, but at least several), but the pants just since the beginning of the summer and the shoes about that long too. Changing weights has made me buy many more pants/skirts recently than I might have.
ok, work problem has been seen to. Hopefully that was fast enough to keep anything from being delayed. I feel sucky about this. ok, now to lunch.
I just got the shirt I'm wearing at H & M this past weekend. Skirt ... sometime in the last 6 months. Pony sneakers (that match my new shirt exactly in a way that's making me so happy today) I got last year.
I do have a few things from college. Nothing from HS would still fit me. However, my best friend from high school wore our uniform skirt at an 80s night here this spring. I fell out when I saw it. That thing was ugly! not cute Catholic schoolgirl wear AT ALL.
I just had really super peppery Hot & Sour soup for lunch. I felt like I was starting to get a cold but not so much anymore.
Shirt - 2.5-3 years
Skirt - Year old
Shoes - Year old
Jacket - 3 years. It's my work jacket, though - the one I wear to deal with the fact that my cube is in a cross-breeze and is therefore 5 degrees colder than everywhere else on the floor.
Shirt - 1 year.
Skirt - 2 years. I need more of this kind.
Boots - 2 years.
Socks - no idea.
Undies - no idea.
Shoes: almost 17 months (I know this exactly because I bought them on the Zmayhem honeymoon in NOLA when it turned out I'd left my other good heels in my mom's car)
Skirt: 5 or 6 years
Turtleneck: 3 to 5 years
Bra: 2 years
Undies: NO.
Huh, Rachel Ray is going to have a daytime talkshow.
Jeans--2 years.
Shirt--I don't know, because I found it in my closet when moving and went 'Oh, yay, I do have a green shirt'.
I wear stuff till it wears out and buy stuff when I feel I really need something in a different color or to replace something.
I can't stand Rachael Ray. I hate that she's all over the place on Food Network.
