I'll bet three kittens and a Norwegian Forest cat that there is a backup that is a) 2 months out of date, and b) has a small, but terribly vital section that was totally corrupted in a recent power surge.

No kidding - I looked at the cover of the Globe and saw "unabomber" in the upper righthand corner, with a photo, and was like "Whooooaaaaa!!! Coool!!!"

I mean, I've never met Hec in person, but I feel like I've known him for years, so I was all "friend of a friend".

A month or two outdated would be BLISS. With one exception (a set of files kept current, so I can replace them easily) everything in there is a a month old or older. Losing one or two months would be virtually unnoticeable.

I didn't see your note 'til this morning, so I didn't TiVo it, and in fact canceled my TiVo from recording it last night, because I wanted to record Veronica Mars, rather than bits of the game.
