I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The big owner guy came to krav today. Luckily (I hope) he forgot to watch me teach, then he took over the level 5 class (knife on knife -- I figured I'd get the atavistic rush when I slid around my attacker and slit her throat -- but I don't think her, pretty meek for a kravver, expected to feel the same thing when it was her turn).

And after that, he came into my level 2 to shake my hand before he left. I swear, he doesn't know my name, but he's unfailing in how he makes me feel like a valued part of the centre, and in some strange way my name is irrelevant to that.

What is even happening?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So I still don't want to go to work. But yet I will. Bah.

I think I need to focus more on non-work things I can do to make money. Too bad I'm not a good card player.

Wait, didn't Joaquin decry the idea of fuelling his acting with personal pain?

Joaquin Phoenix developed an alcohol dependency while filming his role as Johnny Cash in the new movie biopic Walk The Line. Country singer Cash, who was a renowned drinker, prompted actor Phoenix into increasing his alcohol intake for a better portrayal of the character. Gladiator star Phoenix, 30, realized his problem was getting out of control and in April checked himself into a rehab clinic when filming was over. He tells London magazine Time Out, "It was then that I became aware of my drinking. I wasn't an everyday drinker but didn't have anything else to do, anything to hold me down. I was leaning on alcohol to make me feel ok. That's what it really was."

Jesse, can you give me an update on your findings? I'm in need of that knowledge.
