This is my boat. They're part of my crew. No one's getting left. Best you get used to that.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

The strangers that touched my tummy were generally older, Hispanic women who patted my tummy, said something in Spanish and smiled at me. I didn't mind them. But then, I have almost no boundaries.

Sometimes, strangers will pat Em's head, but I don't mind that either. I am passing the no boundaries thing on.

However, continued pinching of her legs? Taser. A lot. And then kicking in the head.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

A's manager Ken Macha will not return.

Huh, indeed.

I think Jesse could easily find a starfish pin to add to her Prince ensemble, and a coffee cup could be readily filled with Kristal as necessary.

The raspberry beret is the main thing. And you can go as the Prince Songbook.

(originally typed "Snogbook" - Jesse wishes!)

I thought this meant you were pregnant. For that crazy, pre-conscious second

well, obviously, no. But were that the case the sentence would have been:

reason # 879 why I shouldn't be pregnant - I'm not prepared to become a religious icon.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I, on the other hand, am perfectly okay with being a religious icon, but all told, would rather a raucous and thriving sex life.

If I had to choose.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Who says you can't be/have both?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

No one ever patted my tummy who didn't know me, and I bit my mother's head off for patting it without asking.

I think I looked too grumpy to risk my wrath.

However, strangers always want to touch my child. Normally they just pat her hand or head, but it still weirds me out.

One thing at a time, I guess.
