Polish typists must be the most nimble in the world. Typing names like Rodziewiczowna and Przybysz all the time could only make you very dexterous.

You would really really be surprised. I'm no nimble typist -- as anyone who has been on AIM with me can attest -- but, given the motivation, I can spell Yastrzemski corerctly nine times out of ten.
Coach K from Duke, NSM, but I'm not a basketball fan.
Oh. A metaphorical bus. Maybe I can get my jaw off the floor now, if not completely closed.
I was in the same mental place.
When I worked for Waldenbooks, Little Warsaw was just down the street from the mall, so we had a lot of Polish people frequenting the store. Quite a few of them signed up for the frequent shopper card, but since errors were frequently made by the staff when typing the info into the system, I'd occasionally call in to the office to have them correct the entries. Once, I had a stack of over 50 entries to correct, and the operator I spoke with (in Ann Arbor, MI) was flabbergasted over the number of people with multisyllabic last names ending in "ski."
Oh, and this is for brenda m and all the other Chicago dog owners out there--Chicago is Dogtown USA (as determined by Dog Fancy magazine)!
I'm sad about the bus not existing.

As was I.

Me fifth.
I was wondering if it was a tour bus or a city bus.
As was I.And I was thinking--well, you know, having what looks way too much like a roid rage attack ain't helping your case, Raphael.
"We're exceptionally proud. This just enhances our city," Kent said. "By being dog-friendly, we're also being people-friendly. People want to travel with animals. They want to bring their animals to a lot of locations, to go to dog parks and beaches."
Except they don't let dogs into bars.
There's this really cool bar in Wicker Park that used to allow dogs in (Lemmings, IIRC) - they even had a little yard for the dogs to go weewee in. I went with a friend and her dog many times. But then the city forced them to stop allowing dogs in.
Yeah, I'm sure there's health reasons to not allow dogs into bars. But it was fun! The dogs loved it! So did the patrons!
