Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Someone tell me that next week's GG won't be as crap as this week. What's up with Lorelai? I can see Rory acting like a bit of an ass, but she's the more sensible one in this scenario, by far. It's alienating me.

Drive safely, Matt. That's a hell of a work day.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Allyson, that is so sad. What a... what a... damn.

In somewhat perplexing news:

A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM CHRIS CAGLE
October 3rd, 2005

To All My Loyal Music Fans:

"As many of you are aware, I had been anxiously awaiting the addition of a new baby to my life. The baby has been born and both mother and child are in good health. Since the birth, however, we have discovered that biologically, the child is not mine.

As excited as I was about becoming a new father, my disappointment is equally as strong. So out of respect for all that are involved, please allow this situation to remain private and know that I will not be commenting further on this very personal matter. I'm thanking you in advance for your kind cooperation and understanding."

I'm not sure -- am I violating his privacy by reposting this?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh my.

Seems to me to be a very polite fuck-you to his wife, or whatever.

Or maybe he knew it might not have been his before the baby was born?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Wow. That's... huh. That's a bad day, is what that is.

When did we lose "brontosaurus"?!?

Um, 1980s sometime, I think? The paleontological community decided that the apatosaurus and the brontosaurus were the same animal, and since the apatosaurus had been named first, it won.

Which goes to show you how bad decisions get made. They should have asked the legion of first-graders who knew brontosaurus, but had never heard of apatosaurus! Then we wouldn't have had to give up brontosaurus, and life would be peachy.

Allyson, that's the saddest thing I've heard in a day of sad things.

Art Crawl!!!

Allyson, that is too bad.

Kat & Jesse: GA, I totally thought at the end of last season that she was going to get an abortion -- thus the appointment with the clinic that she mentioned to Meredeth. I'm guessing that she totally intends to keep the appointment, but of course, there is no way that they would ever allow this to go smoothly nor would there be any chance that Burke would never know and thus, next week's episode.

They also could have asked Fred Flintstone. What's he gonna eat at the drive-in, now that brontosaurus burgers are no more?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

T-Rex T-Bones?

Wait. They wouldn't have those at a drive-in.

Damn. I can't shake the sad about that poor girl. I keep thinking about her and feeling awful for her loved ones.
