Art Crawl!!!

I thought that the lamp oil choice actually was taking people longer.

Well, I wanted either the Rogers or the Paolos to finish last - so I'm happy.

I keep expecting him to wander into the basement and meet a scary guy with knives.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That boat that capsized in Lake George -

At the time it flipped over, the 38-foot Ethan Allen was just under its capacity of 48 passengers a figure that was arrived at by using a New York standard that assumes a 150-pound average for each man, woman and child, authorities said. The U.S. Coast Guard standard assumes a 140-pound average for each person.

Ouch. I wonder if they do elevators using the same scale.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

CRAP -- the sound cut out during the entire third act of TAR. Did I miss anything important/funny?

Excellent!

I hope CBS realizes that NYC missed almost 20 minutes of the show and re-airs it, because I was really looking forward to following the driving across DC-MD-VA. Yes, I'm a big giant dork.

hip deep in pie

I think they do. I've bene on tiny elevators where the sign says a capacity of 12 people, and I think you could maybe squeeze 8 people on, if they were packed like sardines.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Uh, I didn't realize until today that I know the Linz family that's on TAR. I went to school with their older sister.

(I wouldn't have known, except there was an article in the paper today, and someone just happened to bring the paper in to work today.)

Kinda cool.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

I know it's a long shot, but anyone know of a base 60 calculator out there?

Teppy -- that's very cool.

Also, how have the Weaver family not been eliminated yet? Can you believe that they didn't know where Washington DC is in relation to Pennsylvania?
