If you go to the front page of the
Chicago Tribune
[link] and go down a bit, on the left-ish side of the screen, they have their photos of the day. One of the photos is of a jaguar kitten! And then there's this:
A goat carrying a monkey performs a tightrope walk during a performance to mark the National Day at Nanning Zoo Monday in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. The goat, standing on a disk, moves on a steel wire about 2 meters above the ground. The performance is one of the most popular entertainments in the zoo.
That is the most awsome picture ever!!!!
All the clean hydrogen we need to power the world is already contained in crystals at the bottom of the ocean called gas hydrates.
TRUE.
It'd be nice if this was true.
It is true. The problem is safely extracting the hydrogen (mainly methane). It's mostly in a frozen slush (due to the extreme pressure of the ocean depths) that would have to be effectively "mined."
The problem is that the frozen methane, if mined incorrectly, could cause an undersea landslide, and an underwater landslide could create a tsunami.
Plus, doesn't it smell like farts?
Oh yeah, I was going to say, sara, my first massage was by an independent massage therapist I found through my insurance, and she was just great. Half of the first session was all about me working on my breathing so I could relax enough so she could work.
Oddly enough, I've never had problems relaxing while getting a massage. A few times I've almost fallen asleep, though.

It's funny to look at David Rakoff (on Daily Show). I have issues with radio people sometimes.
I thought he was cute. Too bad he's gay. Dammit!
(Cause, otherwise, I'd be in there, man!)
Very cute! But shouldn't he really just be a disembodied voice while I do the dishes???
