"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

They seem so charming! Are they reputed for crap taste (I'm not including teabagging here -- that should be irrelevant. Please let it be irrelevant).

I don't know about how they decorate their apartments or what books they read, but one of them, at least, is a big Red Sox fan. (They were here over the weekend.) I guess it is a funnier joke if you know who Carl Yastrzemski and David Ortiz are. (Neither is particularly girlish.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I guessed they were ball players -- it was the taste part I was wondering about.

Are these shoes dainty?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

They are borderline.

You like big shoes?

I cannot lie.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I would have just said no, not dainty. I think you need something with a thinner heel to qualify as dainty.

What is even happening?

I think if they were grey/silver, you could get away with those, ita. The thick heel ought to be mostly disguised by the dress and the front of your foot. I don't think I'd wear black shoes with that dress. The dress has a whole soft vibe about it.

I tried it on with silver shoes. But I'm not going to wear silver stilettos again. You don't think she looks okay?

I agree with Cindy that those shoes could work, and would probably be better in a lighter color.

So, I literally can't do any work still. I feel like maybe I should go home. Not that I mind sitting here, it just feels so useless. I guess I'll do some homework....
