I like the grey best. ita could so rock the grey.

I should go to bed. I'm in a weird sleepy but not tired zone. I will regret it tomorrow.

Wanna know the shocker? Considering PAYING to see another movie tomorrow. I'm not sure...ok, I am sure why. To test whether my forgetfulness is situational or topical. Or something like that.

Also? To avoid cleaning.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Same movie? I wanna go see Wallace and Grommit to cleanse my brain.

That's a possibility (meaning W&G- NOT Serenity. I'm done for now.) Also, the Corpse Bride.

I knew NOTHING about W&G until about 4 years ago. And my awesome cousin Joe (my favorite) made me sit down and watch some version (pants? evil penguins?) and when he had to go chase small ones, made his wife make me watch them. And I loved W&G.

So...whichever. I might see if the swanky theater has either, cause I'd rather avoid sticky floors, back cricks and sound systems that give me a killer headache.

I don't think I can escape the latter, alas.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ditto. Except I won't regret it until Monday.

Now I feel bad because I'm watching some new Food Network show about trying to help floundering restaurants, and the one they are working with is a restaurant I used to go to all the time, but haven't been in years. It's all my fault!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm watching Commander In Chief, and mostly it's making me miss Jack & Bobby. It's samey in parts, and less than compelling.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

If we're gonna have a chick president it should be Laura Roslin.

ION, I have now contributed $40 to Serenity's weekend box office (my two preview viewings should be counted as part of the weekend gross).

Our wings are not tired.

I'll watch it again because I am fond of Geena Davis. There were too many people to be introduced in the episode to have a decent flow. Enough talent, but the dialog was mediocre. Then again, I don't know if I can deal with Donald Sutherland on a weekly basis. I can only take him in small doses.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm seeing no other movies this weekend. I am, however, going to watch Tom Quinn look pained and angst-ridden.

I'm eating my first Honey Crisp apple. Organic to boot. Tastes like water. Pfah. And I have two others.

Lame. A good Honey Crisp is incredible, and perfect with cheese. Wonder if the crop just sucks this year. I suppose when I go shopping tomorrow, I should buy just the one in case that's the case.

Oh, the Worst Spy Ever! Heee! He's good at looking angsty, though. Man, S1 seems so very long ago now.

I took my niece to see Serenity and the guy taking tickets said, "Theater 10, on the right." So we sat down and the theater was a little small, but okay. And then the theater didn't fill up, but okay. And then the trailers were all for comedies, and

-- okay, so I was dumb. They'd given me tickets to "The 40-year-old Virgin" and I didn't realize it until the movie itself actually started.

So we missed the first 15 minutes of "Serenity", damnit. OTOH, the niece liked it anyway.

move out and draw fire

Clearly the universe is trying to keep you from seeing Serenity, 'suela.

That silver-grey dress is GORGEOUS.

That's the Serenity effect.

Heh.

So, I watched Master and Commander this afternoon, and it was fine, but: those two guys are totally dating.

Again, heh.

sarameg, the TJ's in Falls Church was the same. I was so psyched when it opened, since I'd missed them terribly, but it was aw.ful. Most days you couldn't even get in (if you somehow found parking) because the lines for the cashiers blocked the front doors.

They started popping up to follow me, though: when we moved to Fairfax one opened there, better floor plan (although still no parking). And shortly after I started working in Herndon one opened there, best of the region. It's a stand-alone store, built to be a TJ's. Dedicated parking.

I really wish they'd do internet sales, but it's probably helping my diet to not have access to their candy aisle.
