sara - yes Mad World. originally by Tears for Fears. I am pretty sure that that version is from the Donnie Darko soundtrack.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I love that song. Well, and Hallelujah. I guess that's why they get used so much. Still...way to kill good stuff.

My main thoughts on CSI were that I love Grissom, there wasn't enough Greg, and I loved it when Nick said, "Bob's your uncle!"

I love Nick so freakin much, but the look on Warrick's face when they found the lab tech asleep made me want to jump through the tv and lick him.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I saw no TV last night, but I saw four Wiseguy episodes.

I'm also about to get into a full-on flame-war with that bitch who posted the stuff I quoted here yesterday, about New Orleans being an embarassment to the state.

Thanks all. I first heard it months ago on the radio (a station that doesn't play things to death.)

Still...way to kill good stuff.

I'm mostly immune to that. Mostly. Unless I don't like it the first time I hear it.

I still think we should get her on fandom_wank.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Oh! Susan Orlean audio essay about "Sweet Caroline!" She interviewed David Wells, the ZZ Top pitcher, who was like, Who doesn't like Neil Diamond?

You mean the piece on NPR this morning? It couldn't have been more condescending and insulting if she used an electric insult machine on National Condescend to Fans Day.

Flame her but good for me, Dana. May it be cleansing and liberating for you....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That does seem like a legitimate flame war to have, Dana.

Err... my boss is listening to her voice mail messages on speaker phone. I can hear everything.

I have a friend who loved to do that in her cube (!!), so our other friend always started her messages out dirty, to make her pick up.

I need to start cutting down the number of shows I'm trying to watch right quick. Half the time, it's like I'm just trying to get through it, even shows I like. So lame.
