Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

One of my coworkers is home today becaue they may have to evacuate their house if the winds change. Her kids are home from school as their school is directly in the burn path. Scary.

I think the one casualty was a fireman killed by a falling rock -- no civilians have been killed.

There must be a place for up to the minute useful information. I'm just poking around the web aimlessly.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesus, that shit is terrifying.

Y'know, I miss a lot of things about the west. But not fire season.

My new officemate just left for the day. I don't know if this is his normal schedule of not.

There must be a place for up to the minute useful information.

Maybe the forest/park service has something? They are usually the coordinators, anyway.

Um, ita, shouldn't you be headed home now?

Okay, the bell for lunch just rang so I have to run up to The Hill. Feh.

That's why I want some right-now-offical where's-the-fire-going information. So I can talk myself out of having to stay.

Kat! If you're not gone yet, was this near where we hiked that one time?

Fire also destroyed a building at the Rocketdyne facility where rocket engines have been developed since the 1950s.
