Msbelle, the wings and the Tinkerbell both sound great. The clowns -- well, the second one is kinda cool.
I have no positive good news. You can see the flames from the 118.
Drive into work. Now. It looks like special effects outside. The big bank of red smoke is reflecting the sunshine so everything's sunset-coloured, and the noon shadows are slanted.
Tigger=forceful, geisha="sex" professional.
The second clown is cool. This is also a cool costume: [link]
Off to cram earplugs in and try to sleep.
Not missing LA right now, despite the noise here.
jesusita. ita, time to come visit NYC. for reals.
I will send you the wings and tink costume with info on how to adjust if needed.
ita, have any homes in Simi been threatened?
Wow, ita. Scary pics!
*cries at the thought of good Chinese*
Well, you know what I'm going to say to that, don't you?
I have to get offline, I've got a ton of work to do and I'm just screwing around reading wanktastic kerfuffles in people's LJs. Must STOP!
If you see me here again before 4 PST, yell at me, would you?
ita, if you do dress up as Tinkerbell, PLEASE get someone to take pictures.
For Halloween, I am going to wear my usual sort of clothing. And fangs. Since we'll be at Disneyland, I figure there's not point to wearing a really elaborate costume.
oh oh oh I want a mask of the nip/tuck slicer person.

I know what I'm having for lunch.
They're doing voluntary evacuations about fifteen minutes away from here. The building's quiet, and getting quieter. At least the 118's open. I do wish they'd send us home.
But the facility isn't in danger, so, why bother?
I had Thai leftovers for lunch. They were good. And already paid for.
Thai would have been good too.
eta: I have some friends who live in Simi. I hope they are okay.
