Sometimes very wrong things are sexy. Like the new kid on Desperate Housewives (not a spoiler, since he was in the end of S1). Now, it's on my resume that I have nothing against the younger men. That kid is
exactly
what catches my eye in a younger guy, but it's key that he's young. I mean, that's part of what makes that particular intense, relaxed and thoughtful persona more than just "nice." It's blisteringly attractive in a teenager.
I know that's supposed to be wrong, but I have, as an adult, been attracted to 17 year olds before, and since I was past 30 at the time, I can't be sure it won't happen again. It's just that it was a
legal
attraction at the time, since it was in Michigan. And I really didn't do anything about it other than make good friends.
Now, the 18 year old ... a whole 'nother ballgame.
No cable. Can't get UPN in clearly. Can't watch show. ABC doesn't come in well, either. Can't watch other show.
You know, there's supposed to be super-cheap super-basic cable offered in Seattle per the franchise agreement. $12 or so per month for the channels on the uppermost tier (all the local affiliates, Discovery, NWCN). Probably still out of your price range, but oh well.
When I lived in the Rainier Valley, we got one of these for our TV and got everything pretty well (and Beacon Hill was blocking 4, 5, and 7 from us line-of-sight). If you're going to go without cable, a unidirectional antenna is a must in this city.
Sometimes very wrong things are sexy.
Sometimes?
It's not my biggest bragging point, but wrong can figure prominently into what is sexy. As can the 17-year-old version of *wrong* at times.
The wrong and the theoretical danger adds to the hotness.
I have to leave the apartment at 7:30 tomorrow morning.
That's gross.
I leave at 6:45 on days I need PT. Really, really, OMGWTF gross...
I get to go to the dentist.
Hope I don't vomit this time.
Perkins wins on the Ugh-ness.
I hope you don't vomit too.

It's our digital receiver's fault. It's weird and touchy. But when it's on, it's beautiful.
Honestly, I suspect a big part of the cable cancelling (which happened pre-pregnancy) on his part (mine was just that I wasn't watching anything) was due to Paul's hatred of the very messy digital cable signal.
Yay me!?!
At least my ughness is short lived? How is your back doing?

Says it loves you, right?
My back is actually improving a lot. The physical therapy might be painful sometimes and tiring but it's working too. I'm kinda appreciative. I've also slacked this week so today hurt like hell. Still? Bless the concept of PT...
