TAR: Darn! I liked the family that came in last. But, I didn't watch the middle hour, so maybe they weren't so fun.

TAR:
I'm still boggling at the "Pennsylvania...that might be a state, I don't know...." comment. Was she raised in a box?
Sad that the Black family went first. I was hoping to be rid of the screamers.
And OMG, how cute was the little Cindy Brady type imagining Phil saying "You're team #1" to her family? SO CUTE.
DH recorded My Name is Earl for me. I happen to think this is the best half hour I can spend watching tv at the moment. It's really, really cute and funny while still being a little...wrong.
Darn! (again) I forgot to tape Earl! This season is going to wear out my vcr.
Was she raised in a box?
No really, the state (heh) of geography knowledge by the vast majority of the population of this country is unbelievably abyssmal.
TAR: Definitely wanted to see the Bronx family go bye-bye--I'm hoping they do so next week. They got lost in downtown Manhattan, for crying out loud!
Oh, and best thing in the ep: Kevin and Drew!!! I was hoping someone would recognize them, and the final team finally did (wasn't that the Loud family? If so, they at least are familiar with the show's history.)
Best lines that I recall offhand:
"Sorry I couldn't contribute, Mom." "Get used to it, dork!"
"You've never camped out before? We'll teach you how to be a boy."
I enjoyed My name is Earl a lot. I think I am going to watch it while House is being Tivoed and then switch to the second half of TAR.
The Black family were nice enough but their abysmal perfomance on the boating makes me think they wouldn't have lasted long anyway. They're not nearly as prepared for this as the other kid family. A little shocked at the perfomance of the three brothers and the sister (from Cinci! Hi Steph!).
Yeah, there's like four things I want to watch on Tuesdays at eight. Feh.
Seriously -- I got home from class to a week's worth of TV on the DVR, and I think there was stuff I missed.
