Perkins, I ended up having eel rolls from the deli. I also had spinach and ricotta pie from the yummy and cheap Italian place earlier. Now I need third lunch.
Oh, god.
It's time for my yearly evalutation/performance review. I have to fill out a booklet. Both my coworker and I greeted its appearance with a dull, "...'k."
Probably it's a bad sign that I'd rather quit than have to sit through an evaluation, huh.
I would recommend not putting that on your evaluation.
but feeds into another I have about Czech tastebuds.
Supersensitive? Or just depressed into not caring by years of Soviet repression?
There were some things that were good. But the traditional diet was often heavy on the bland.
A banana.
Oh wait, that's what I had for lunch. I think you can do better.
And what I had for breakfast, so maybe not. It was yummy though.
Sashimi would be good, or even deli eel, but I would have to drive too far to get them. I think I am going for Mexican instead. Maybe a crab enchilada.
I just got back from lunch. The seafood special was not salmon, but whitefish. Still almost as good. Along with the best. hummus. ever. And Cold Stone ice cream for dessert. (Did you know they don't have their cake batter ice cream anymore? Something about an ingrediant being unavailable.)

AHHHhahahahahaaa....
I do this every year.

It might take care of the problem, though.

The food was very bland. I always figured it was because Czechs often drank a full beer before every meal. Which kills half your tastebuds right there.
