Did you mash them yourself? Sometimes that can be too textural for a new eater. Try the jarred kind before you give up. In fact, with all first foods, try them again a few times before you give up.
The first ones I gave her were from a jar and the second bowl (after she'd rejected the first) was hand mashed cooked banana with a bit of water to duplicate the texture of jarred.
With the jarred, I tried them straight, with a bit of cereal, and with EBM before giving up. They're a little tarter than your everyday banana, so I decided to try mushed, in case the tartness was the problem.
With the mashed, I gave up as soon as it became clear that it wasn't a tartness issue.
Mom's birthday. Mine was last month.
Brendon was 18 months, and Bobby maybe 15 months before they got teeth. Our parents told us we were both slow too.
I've pretty much been a lazy slug today. Watching the World Series now. My keyboard seems to want to stick. Very annoying.
Ahh ha ha! DH just said, "God you guys talk about babies a lot. Whatever happened to Buffistas being a bunch of hip chicks?"
I think that may become my new tagline.

Oh, the irony. I've been enjoying the pancakes comment for many months, and now he himself has caused another bastion to fall to the baby invasion.
Y'all are out "doing stuff" or something.
Fine.
Ima finish off this thread ALL BY MYSELF.
In the dark of night
