But that's just my point! You she obeys! She obeys you! There's obeying going on right under my nose!

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Cash - second babies are notorious for coming early, so February 9th would be a GREAT date. Ummmm, yeah. Fantastic date.

I tried to take pictures of our new dog, but he is absolutely camera shy. As soon as I pull it out, his ears go down and he turns his head away. This morning he was snuggled on the couch between CJ and K-Bug, partially under one of their blankets. Too cute. So I tried the camera again. He turned and crawled under CJ's blanket.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

it's cold! I want to not use the heat till November, and it's getting to that tough time of year.

Nick asked me if we could turn the furnace on. I told him not until the air conditioners were out of the windows and the windows shut. He said oh and went back to bed. Pissant. I've been asking him and Greg to take them out of the windows for a couple of weeks now. I took the one out of the babies window, but was too wimpy to carry it down to the basement. I did them all by myself last year. This doesn't say good things about my muscle tone.

Also, in case they don't answer, no sj because of allergies.

I want to know what the hell that man drinks too. Tea? I like tea, but... I want my caffeine rough and fast at first.

Also also, that's a very smart dog.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Gronklies.

Annabel woke up at 2:00, 3:00, and 5:00 this morning. At 5:00 DH took her into the back room, put her in the playpen, and stayed with her till she slept. I'm now the only person awake in the house, but if Annabel doesn't wake on her own by 10:00, I'll wake her up. Her sleep schedule has been disturbed ever since that late-night ER visit Wednesday, but she had such a nice nap at her regular time yesterday afternoon and dropped off so quickly after we put her in bed last night that I really thought she was sorted out. Ugh.

Mostly lurking...

Nora, sj will not be at tea, because she has a severe cat allergy...poor thing!

Jen will be here, though.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

It's not cold here. :( I want it to be cold! I look way cuter in layers. We still have to have the air conditioning on a couple nights a week. Blah.

Feb. 13 is a very cool day, as well, and apparently much more exclusive.

move out and draw fire

Mal just saw his first fireworks. I've no idea what they were for, but they were setting them off in the park across the street so it was quite loud and shiny! All white and gold. We went out on the porch to watch, and I noticed our security service was here and watching them also (nice, as of course my first thought was "AK-47? No, Uzi maybe, but I think fireworks.")

The DH drinks Coke between the hours of noon and 7:00pm (although he refers to 11:00am as "afternoon.") Occasionally he drinks iced tea, Georgia style. Otherwise, I don't think he drinks anything. Some sort of freak of nature. For ~15 years I've been drinking coffee, tea, any and all brown sodas, and foofy espresso drinks, and he's been decrying my moral weakness.

Keep in mind that this is a person who doesn't really like chocolate.

(ETA: My Nana's birthday was Feb. 13, and my father's Feb 18, so I support February Aquariuses)
