Atherton: Half the men in this room wish you were on their arm, tonight. Inara: Only half. I must be losing my indefinable allure.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Also, DO NOT listen to the silly people who tell you to go straight into grad school.

Standing. Right. Here.

But it was the right thing for me, not the right thing for everyone.

Just had a speech therapist visit. Aidan was a total prat, with lots of shouting and kicking; and Kara kept rooting in the woman's bag, swiping stuff, and shouting in the therapist's face. Not one of our stellar events.

It is an option, shall we say. But I'm not sure I could do more school. Right now.

Eugh, Deena. Sounds like you all need a chill.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

SA! Loved your recent pictures, btw.

Here's my biggest problem with that breastmilk page. Who has enough extra to cook with it?!?

That is not even close to my biggest problem with it.

Aidan was a total prat, with lots of shouting and kicking; and Kara kept rooting in the woman's bag, swiping stuff, and shouting in the therapist's face. Not one of our stellar events.

I think you should go to grad school. Or they should.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Where I thought they required you to wear Way Too Much Makeup, but maybe that's just been the personal choice of everyone I've seen working there.

Then, I think it is good that sj is going to work there, to show them the error of their ways for I've never seen her wear too much make-up. The thing she does do is wear just enough to emphasize her best points, a tactic that is obviously underused by the other employees of VS.

I'm home. I'm vegging. I may even sleep soon. No energy, no motivation and the brain just wants to jump from point to point and it's driving me nutsy-cuckoo. This is what happens when allergic reactions force you to go off your anti-depressants. Urk.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That is to say, the time to do all of these things... and none of the money necessary to do any of them.

Here's what I tend to say to people in SA's situation: What you have in the bank right now is Freedom. That's what you should spend. If you don't have the money to go backpacking in Europe, then scrape up the bus fare to San Francisco where people will gladly host you. And San Francisco is very fun on the cheap.

I'm eating Italian Wedding soup for lunch. It makes me think of Maria.

Thanks! Hey, if anyone else wants to see my New Zealand photos, you can find them at [link]

I love italian wedding soup.

That's my goal. I just want to do something, you know? I'm not even sure I can live a life without an institution behind me anymore, though.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I'll admit to being completely baffled by the squick-reactions to the breastmilk page. I really don't see what's wrong with it.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

SA! I got your phone message yesterday, right before I went to bed. (The cell phone lives in the depths of my purse, which was itself in the depths of a tote bag, which itself was in the kitchen. So I definitely didn't hear it ring. When I got ready for bed, I happened to hear a beep, and lo, you had called.)

I should be cleaning right now, but if you have time, I can call you right now. Check one: yes/no.

Also, want to come up next Saturday night for a Halloween party? A Halloween party with....errrrm....I should probably call you. But you should come up for it!

I really don't see what's wrong with it.

I don't think anyone's saying there's anything wrong with it, per se, just that they couldn't see themselves doing that with their leftovers. I know I wouldn't have, had I even enough to breastfeed my own kids, but that is because I'm lazy.
