Am I supposed to be changing my clothes a lot? Is that the helpful thing to do?

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Post Toasties:

Is it possible for one tangerine to have 3-4 seeds PER SECTION?? Why, yes, yes it is.

I have been itchy on my left side all day. Finally figured out why. Stoopid t-shirt people put a TAG there. Why?? It's gone now.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

How long is your shift? Will they let you sit every so often if you need to?

Today is only three hours, and a large part of it will probably be paperwork and watching training videos, so not much standing. I am worried about the job in general more than just today. It is going to take a while to get myself back into shape enough to do this easily, and in the meantime, I don't want to look like I can't do the job.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sparky1, in case you were wondering, my access to that web site was fixed in NY, and is now, I am told, working 100% of the time there, even though their fix made it considerably slower than it had been before.

Of course, it never didn't work in NY, and it's now much slower to not work here than it had been.

Punishingly Intricate

Don't forget lisah, I'm treating you to oysters and champagne when you come out.

Ooh! I somehow missed this offer! You are so on!

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Possibly shanghaied by Jilli and kept in a pretty cage in Seattle.

Huh. I was going to say "How did you know about my cunning plan?", but realized that (a) I talk about that particular cunning plan a LOT, (b) on some things I'm pretty predictable, and (c) I'm not so much with the subtle.

JZ, thank you for the link to that hat! I've been searching and searching for one on eBay, but could only find them being offered by UK sellers for something like $40 US.

move out and draw fire

Because I'm working on Flickr at the moment, here's what I looked like in that badge photo.

Also, my DH just responded to a comment I made with, "Flickr likes carrots." I lost 3 sanity points.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I am off to work! We have to wear black pants or skirts and a black jacket. I am wearing a black velvety peasant skirt, a dark purple sleeveless sweater and a black blazer. I need to find a black velvet blaze that is either petite or has 3/4 sleeves so that the sleeves aren't hanging down over my hands,

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

sj, what's your new job?

Raq, that's a highly amusing picture.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Here's my biggest problem with that breastmilk page. Who has enough extra to cook with it?!?

I'm not dressing up in a costume for Halloween, but I'm going to wear a silly t-shirt with skulls on it. And I think they are doing a Halloween thing at daycare for Franny, so she'll wear her costume. I'm worried she'll wet it and then won't be able to wear it at night, so maybe she needs two costumes.
