Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm randomly catching up. I am behind because my family is driving me out if my mind.

Please send chocolate.

My mother, sister and I are supposed to go to D.C. for vacation in like two weeks. We have yet to pick a hotel or get airline tickets because every time I suggest a hotel, they either say it's too much or my sister goes off getting more suggestions from random people she sort of knows. Those suggestions all run to 1-star hotels or hotels 20 miles out of town. (We won't have a car.) I was pushing for more of a suite closer in, because there are three of us and my mother is 80. After going round and round, my mother's saying, "Well, whatever's most comfortable for you," putting me in the uncomfortable position of making her pay $50 plus more a day so I'll be "comfortable." No, she won't take a dime from me. The last trip, I picked out a cheaper room, and they whined about the sorts of things you get with a cheap hotel. I keep sending my sister information, but she can't seem to remember that you click on the frelling link in the e-mail to get the information. It's like herding cats, except less productive or entertaining.

Why am I doing this? I'm a good daughter. Or a masochist.

Anyway, vw's hair looks great.

I'm so sorry, Juliana. I hope everything works out for the best. At least you know that there are people all over the country who would be proud and happy to have you grace their cities.

Matt, quick and pain-free healing~ma to your dad.

Mostly lurking...

I'm back at work. We just had cake. Next Friday we're having a Halloween Party. Fun!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

vw, do you want to come work where I work? I fear we'll have to do themed things, and I'm so not that person. And it'll all be chalked up to me not liking fun nor being a team player, but they keep picking the wrong stuff.

One of the few downsides of working at home is that no one ever brings cake.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Okay, if the octupus isn't your style, how about this?

I could print that picture out and paste it on the back of my head.

I can handle the krav halloween party (barely) because at least it's a party. At night. With people I socialise with anyway. You want me to wear a costume and come and work??? Crazy people.
