Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I pre-ordered this movie, you know! I'm a guy, you know, with a penis and a healthy sexual appetite (for girls, I might add. Mostly.) and testosterone and all those things! I can like sentimental movies about girls, too, you know
Aww. We still love you, Gris. (Though I thought the movie was only so-so--bits were good, but at all the important emotional climaxes, it fell just short, or went over the top cheesy)
VW the first picture of your new haircut freaked me out, you looked JUST like my little sister! I think it was the cut and the glasses and the expression on your face (normally, you two don't look especially alike) but seriously startled me.
{{{Juliana}} all the ~ma in the world.
Hec, I'm glad the conversation went well. I hope it goes well in practice, too. Your medicinal activities sound equilibrium restoring.
Pretty hair, pretty vw!
Well, I went away for almost 2 weeks and y'all were chatty. Took me almost all day to catch up!
The BF and I went to several national and state parks (Valley of Fire, Zion, & Grand Canyon) and ended in Las Vegas for my birthday. So much beautiful scenery in this country! I loved Valley of Fire, but Zion took my breath away. Vegas was cool, but so not my kind of town. (I don't like losing money, no I don't.) The only downside to the trip was when I stupidly allowed myself to get a pretty bad sunburn on my face, thereby triggering yet another episode of shingles just in time for Vegas. Yes, 2 episodes 1 month apart. I'm so pleased. Oh well, it still isn't as bad as some people's experiences.
Now I'm trying to combine our photos into a movie using PhotoStory. It's my newest favorite software product, even if it is MicroSoft. Hopefully I'll actually accomplish this soon, or at least before my next birthday. Got bogged down with TOO MANY PHOTOS from last year's trip to France, although that will be fun when (if) I finish it.
~ma to all who need it. Tough life stuff going on. I'd really like to wiggle my nose and fix things, but I am no Samantha.
Thank you so much, everyone. It's nice to know I've got such a support network. IT really is. That's why I'm typing through the tears and champagne.
I wish we were all in MN
JZ, you may be glad to know that I have decided - should the worst happen - I am fully planning to move to SF and weigh upon the goodwill I have. Not that I don't love other cities, but SF has a good part of my support network, and (very importantly) it has mountains *and* water. As one of the performance art pieces I saw tonight said (remind to rant about the other one when I'm sober) - you can't forget your roots. You may try to, but you can't. And if I am to be that bereft, I need my network, I need my Rockies, and I need my water. I'll feel like a total sterotype - moving to CA in search of The Good Life - but maybe that's what I need. Hell, I work at a place that fetishizes the Gold Rush - maybe I should follow that.
Anyway. Blah blah blah.
JULIANA MAYBE IN SAN FRANCISCO?

And if I am to be that bereft
Never. No matter where you go--East Coast, West Coast or the middle of the country--you will always have someone to drink champagne with, ooh and aah over the pretties, and snark over bad art.
I mean...obviously I don't want the worst. I just mean that any chance of Juliana in California makes me happy.
Sorry. Didn't mean to be insensitive.
Juliana, you know what I would say here, since I have said it over and over again. Just know that my door, like so many in the area, is always open.
