Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Aimee - DH was watching that on the news last night when I was imobile and he would not change the channel. If I had not been in so much pain, I would have done something not nice.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay for sj! A LITTLE new lingerie would be okay, wouldn't it?

Thank you. I am sure Teacup Guy would agree with you.

Because books.

{{{Maidengurl}}} Because I forgot earlier. Cats attacking are not good for a body.

I am so totally getting a leash for this kid when she's mobile. Jilli's offered to pretty it up.

You're not wrong. Sara's been a darter from birth, and it gets harder and harder to dart after her effectively.

Ok hive-mind. I need advice. I just called the doctor's office and asked about an appointment. I was told that he does not want to see me in the office and I should go to emergency instead.

I'm at work. I'm stable. Do I wait until after work, or do I go now? I think my wounds should be checked by a professional, but I hate waiting in emergency, especially when I feel like I have something that isn't life threatening.

Why not? is it that he's booked up?

if he has a practice, ask if you can see someone else or the RN/NP today, and that you do not have emergency level problems.

Because books.

Is there any possibility something needs stitching? That might be why he wants you to go to the ER.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Cat scratches are nasty things. I would go now.

I went through that. I heard the nurse talk with him and heard him say I needed to go to emergency. It seems odd, but I'm not up to arguing today.

He is part of a practice, but the other docs are even more booked up then he is, typically, so I'd be shocked if either of them were available. Luckily we have a small local hospital, so it is not like going to a big emergency room.

Librarian Warlord

MG, I'd probably stop at the bookstore/library on my way to the ER and think of it as a chance to indulge myself in a little uninterrupted reading time.

Congratulations on the job, sj! (Isn't all lingerie "little" sort of by definitition -- smaller than other things I wear, for certain)
