Inara: Who's winning? Simon: I can't tell. They don't seem to be playing by any civilized rules that I know.

'Bushwhacked'

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I think this is why DH resists streamlining and decluttering---he still expects to "someday" own a house with a three-car garage, built-in workshop and outbuildings for tinkering on lawn tractors and motorcycles.

I've gotten better, but I fear I also have a 2,400-square-foot house with a garage and a workshop in my head. The one I'm sitting in is a furniture-packed 1,300-square-foot house with carport.

It's beautiful here today too, but I must spend most of my time on the computer.

Deena, I hope you and the small persons have a good day.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Oh, my head's home has a library, a guest room (as well as a master suite with separate tub and shower in the bathroom), and a kitchen with room for a table.

My body's current home is a 1 bedroom, 580 square foot apartment. On the upside, it's relatively cheap to heat.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Calli and I are living in the same head-house and similar body-houses. My body house is about 100 sf smaller, tho. And, heat is included in my rent.

Trust my rage

The DH and I both dreamed I was pregnant last night.

I dreamed about pregnancy last night. I think it was because I've been feeling a bit nostalgic about pregnancy. I was one of those women who had the easiest pregnancy ever and one of my neighbors is pregnant. I'm definitely not ready for another baby, but I've been thinking a lot about it lately. (eta: not about having another baby. I've just been remembering fondly being pregnant last year at this time)

Daniel, I think you should at least approach HR about a place to test. I also think it's pretty poor that someone complained without talking to you first.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Daniel - let me add to the "HR needs to make reasonable accomodations" crowd.

Steph - if you are around, a work exchange this morning reminded me of you. I'm wearing a black skirt, a black tank top, and a white overshirt. My contracts manager is wearing black capri's, a white shirt, and a black vest. She looked at me first thing and said "hey, we are dressed alike, I see you got the memo". I just giggled.
