Kaylee: Captain seem a little funny to you at breakfast this morning? Wash: Come on, Kaylee. We all know I'm the funny one.

'Heart Of Gold'

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

There's a librarian visiting from NY, and I had to take her to dinner.

She had the ostrich, with coconut rice, and I had the fragrant chicken small plate and the shrimp small plate we ordered but didn't get. The chicken was a little greasy, but good, and the shrimp thing was gooood.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Go forth and study. What subject?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

gearhead font This is the rumor: I heard a rumor that after the race Dan Wheldon went to the Penske hauler and started shouting that he had finished 5th instead of Sam. After Dan was done pleading his case with the Marlboro crew he turned to walk away. Then, out of nowhere, Roger Penske smacked Dan on the back of the head with the back of his hand! Dan lost his balance and fell into some kind of flower bed next to pit lane. Both crews and the IRL staff broke up the scuffle. There are talks about reviewing the computer scoring?!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

What subject?

I have another Psychology exam and I have a one page reaction paper in Law & Society. I seem to have procrastinated until the last minute again. I hate when I do that. I need to find a way to break myself of the habit.

Law & Society sounds intriguing.

re: gearhead It kinda sounds like hoo-ey to me. I mean, tempers flare but this isn't high school football. Also, Dan Wheldon pretty. It should be said.

Law & Society sounds intriguing.

I really thought it would be, but I am finding Psychology to be much more interesting.

Silence means security silence means approval

In the process of getting to FedExKinkos in order to mail out THE DOCUMENT FROM HELL, I slammed my shin into something as I was getting into the car. I don't know what, though. Maybe the steering wheel.

Problem was, I was so encumbered with trying to get my work bag and a stack of 350 page coilbound books into the car and running in the process I couldn't see what I smacked.

This evening, I discovered that my shin has THE KNOT FROM HELL.

And the four copies of DOCUMENT FROM HELL PRELIMINARY EDITION are now in Memphis getting ready to be transferred to a plane that will have them arrive at the destination by 10:30am GUARANTEED.

And tomorrow, back to editing DOCUMENT FROM HELL FINAL EDITION.

Mostly lurking...

Timelies!

I should be working on my Take-Home Quiz, but I'm enjoying a nice cup of coffee and Internet surf.

Good luck today, sj!

Ann, that's a ferret.

And tomorrow, back to editing DOCUMENT FROM HELL FINAL EDITION.

With your leg iced and propped up, I hope.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Well the good news is, I was not needed to work overnight. And they found someone to work in the afternoon, which was what they needed. The bad news is, that after spending all day in bed preparing for the worst and, incidentally, sleeping off a half-dose of benedryl taken the night before, I couldn't sleep until about 4am.
