I feel all virtuous today because I have excruciating low back pain and yet am hard at work. It's quite humbling when I cannot walk without yelping and screeching about it.

Medicine is in a totally different place than when Scott's paternal grandmother would have passed. Both of my maternal grandparents died in their 20's from diabetes.
