Right, what's a little sweater sniffing between sworn enemies?

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Because books.

So, I'm making shit up.

I once had a French teacher who was so very burned out, he didn't care if we'd read Les Miserables, or whatever we were supposed to be reading. As long as we wrote correct French sentences on our tests, we got credit. He was a sweetie.

Hee! Exactly.

And, um, timelies. It's still gray and windy and rainy here. More of this and I may stage a revolt and not get out of bed for a few days.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Timelies, all. I've not been commenting, but I've been reading. Hugs to them that need it.

What is even happening?

So, I'm making shit up.
See, now you're talking like a student!
Finally, a school project that teaches the student real life skills.

You will find this skill of particular value in the workplace.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Does Owen pay any attention to the game?

He does. He'll sit on Christopher's lap and watch football and baseball in the evenings. It's how he settles down for bed and it's kind of cute. I think it's because Christopher talks to him and he likes the bright green of the field and the uniforms.

So, I'm making shit up.

That's how I got my B.S. degree.

I just stopped myself from having a hissy meltdown fit in the kitchen. Not only couldn't I find the dish cloths I brought with me from Arizona, I couldn't find any dishcloths at all. We (and by "we" I mean Daniel because I hate doing dishes) have been doing dishes with a sponge that occationally gets microwaved for 3 minutes to kill off germiness. I needed the cloth to wipe up a counter that had pear drool all over it, from a fit of actually doing something with the huge frickin' pile of pears Daniel's co-worker gave him a month ago. I'm not sure why, but trying to wipe up a counter doesn't feel right with a sponge.

O tends to pull the dishclothes and towels out of the drawer--it's low enough and I didn't bother baby proofing it. Since we have dogs, I don't dare put them back in the drawer once he's dropped them on the floor so I end up washing and rewashing them before I've used them. I keep a roll of cheap paper towels on the counter for emergency clean ups.

Always Anti-fascist!

I was a little bored by the Colbert Report. Can't figure it out...I usually *love* SC's phony anchor but it seemed like the gags went on too long.

Damn, I missed it last night between football and baseball. I wonder if Comedy Central is replaying it? I'd kind of like to see it.

Supposed to be writing my cheat sheet for the Abstract Algebra test. Still can't think of anything to put on it. This does not bode well.

Our wings are not tired.

I taped it and TDS for my son as a compromise since I wouldn't allow him to stay up and watch. (don't want to give up my meanest mommy award) We watched TDS show this morning and Jon was brilliant as always. Also, I have big Dolly love so that was good. I won't get to watch Colbert until he gets home from school because someone (point finger at dad) changed the channel to the football game after TDS so I had to reset the tape to go again at 10:30 this morning.

A lot of words to say I'll catch it later.
