Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Paul is on his way now, so I'm hoping the Evil Thing will be found and removed.

Well, Pete is about to call you, because he just called me to let me know he's home.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Personally, Steph, I am using you as my doctor, and then when I go to a real one, I get to laugh and tell them "my other doctor SUCKS".
If Tep could script me up, she could totally be my primary care. I'd still have specialists on the side, of course.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Pete did call, bless him.

Paul's here, checking for EVIL.

I can't even.

That was you receiving a circlet even snazzier than the one you received in the last tiara exchange, correct?

Sorry, Epic, I missed this post in my zipping back and forth between computers at lunchtime. The answer is no, my last tiara exchange tiara is the snazziest ever, thanks (but my coronet is pretty cool, the band is all little spheres that roll).

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

On the overall subject of clothing accuracy at Pennsic, well, I saw a ninja in the marketplace.

BWAH!!!

You get everything from the astonishing to the miserable.

Oh, SCA is not alone in that. Civil war folks are the same. I see way too many women without corsets (or headcoverings) at CW events to make me happy. It's just one of my pet peeves. That and Battenburg lace parasols. Those didn't exist during the CW.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

The answer is no, my last tiara exchange tiara is the snazziest ever

Aww, blushing (even though you picked it out).

but my coronet is pretty cool, the band is all little spheres that roll

If this isn't the snazziest thing ever, the difference is so small I would require a magnifying glass to see it clearly. I wish you lived closer just so I could see it (plus, y'know, you're cool and stuff). I'm so charmed by the little rolling spheres!

What is even happening?

These are good men. Scott's bug-catcher/killer-in-chief, but if I called him at work to come kill a spider, he'd laugh, and laugh, and laugh at me. Big love for Paul (and Pete) right now.

Me too! (I might have filled in my own blanks here a little)

I am kicking ass at work today. I thought my boss was going to snarl at me, but no, she did not. Nice once I can finally, oh, manage the projects like I was hired to do. I think I might end up finishing a few projects and billing today. Gotta love it. (I just ate lunch, my blood sugar might be affecting my post. FWIW.)

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

OK. Ready to go for the interview, except for putting on my suit, which I'm saving for the last minute.

Why is it that yesterday when I had nothing special to do, my hair (newly cut as of Saturday) was effortlessly cute, while today it's borderline stupid?
