Fred: Oh my God! Angel, you'reā€¦cute! Angel: Fred, don't! Fred: Oh, but the little hands! And the hair! Angel: Hey! You're fired.

'Smile Time'

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Replacing balloon weight with bell enclosed in a whiffle ball? Hi-Larious.

What is even happening?

The idea of losing my furniture because it was ruined by a hurricane is so much more palatable than losing anything just because I couldn't find a way to move it. Somehow.

I get that. You can't, in any way, do anything about a hurricane itself. If something does prevent you from getting your furniture, I prescribe liberal doses of lying to yourself until you forget the truth.

It was the right half of a duplex, two floors. From the pictures my friend took, the second floor was completely okay other than the ceiling falling in in the bathroom. I *think* the only damage to the first floor was to the carpets and walls and not our furniture. Mostly what I need is for a moving truck to be available. Mayflower sounded like they'd be able to do it, but I won't really be able to stop worrying until the truck is loaded up...

I hope it turns out even better than you hope.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Okay, I'm picturing the balloon and whiffle ball with my cats, because I don't know Daniel and WindSparrow's cats except by description, but that's good stuff right there.

If something does prevent you from getting your furniture, I prescribe liberal doses of lying to yourself until you forget the truth.

Excellent advice! I'll pass that on to Henry if it's needed.

Always Anti-fascist!

Phishers' e-mails are always crooked, too. Thank God. I might get scammed if they learned margins. Not only is it lefty propaganda, it stars one of my SCBs. I see nothing wrong with this...KS needs regular, non-lifetime work and President Mac rocks...my biggest complaint is that Sutherand's sucking is too overt. Not as an actor, but nobody'd trust Speaker Snidely Whiplash. I no longer feel like ass either spiritually or physically...sad to say that might be an Event.

Note to Self: The other internets are bad.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

What happened, Cindy?

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

We had a bit of a wind and rainstorm last night, nothing that dramatic, but apparently it was enough to split our neighbor's lovely front yard shade tree in half. It's standing, but not looking especially stable. We've moved all our cars out of range, and now DH is out strategizing with Mr. Neighbor how to get the tree down without taking out power to our street.

Herding cats for fun

Is 10:00 on a friday too early to go to bed?

God I hope not, I went to bed at 9.

My sistah in sleepiness! Mmmm, clean sheets, my favorite.

I would so move heaven and earth trying to save my furniture, not to mention the books. I paid a pretty penny for trucking stuff in from Michigan, but by gum I still have my painted dresser.

What happened, Cindy?

I stumbled upon an earnest conversation about this: [link]

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Oh, yeah. Them. Like secession went over so very well the last time.
