Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, sj!!!

I'm not dead, yet.

I feel quite well, actually.

Hec, Betty fashion report?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hec, Betty fashion report?

Well, she was kind of in corporate drag for lunch (which she paid for on the company card! Woot!). But she does have a cool new layered bob with short Betty Page bangs.

She noted that she saw the Angela Bassett/Courtney Vance show that Juliana had talked about.

She and her hubby are planning on going to Berlin & Munich for xmas. I wouldn't mind that kind of trip.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Lunch: We split a dozen kumamoto oysters. Mmmmmm, my favorite. I had a glass of cremant (Pink champagne) with that.

Then she had the fresh oyster stew, and I had Oysters Rockefeller - which I'd never had before. It's oysters baked with butter, spinach and a dash of Pernod.

Then we went over to another place at the Ferry Building for dessert and had little cheesecake tartlets with gingersnap crusts.

Our wings are not tired.

Yum! So Hec, why are you dining in such lavish fashion today? (yes, I skipped) Not that you don't deserve to dine well daily.

My friend Betty was back in town and could charge it out as a business lunch. Lavish, luscious and free.

Does she have a new outside-the-office look for fall? Or did you talk about things of more substance than fashion?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Does the dance of Graeter's ice cream having.

Goes back to work.

What kind, Perkins?

And why did your office get Graeter's flown in? I mean, it's the One True Ice Cream, but surely there's good ice cream in California....
